The DBAF $10,000 Donation Challenge

The Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation, Inc. (DBAF) funds projects to promote a better understanding, therapeutic strategies and a cure for the rare bone marrow failure syndrome. The DBAF is dedicated to improving the diagnosis, clinical treatment and management of the disorder, which enhances the quality of life of affected families worldwide.

Culminating with their 20th anniversary, the DBAF in 2014 has provided vital funds for six research projects for Diamond Blackfan Anemia! Recently, a great-grandmother of a DBA child died. Her family hopes to continue her legacy of giving and generosity by offering the following challenge:

For every new donor who commits to a monthly donation, the family will donate an additional $500, up to $10,000.

DBAF Donation

Your support is needed to help continue the efforts. Your gift can bring finding a cure one day, one week, one month, one year closer to that goal. Every $30 gift funds an hour of research, $240 funds a day, $1,200 funds a week and $4,800 funds an entire month.

Please consider a one-time significant gift or become a monthly donor to support DBA research all year long. Automatic monthly donations can be set up using PayPal or credit cards on www.dbafoundation.org, through your banking institution, or by mailing a check to the DBA Foundation by the 1st or 15th of every month.
